Hello, I’m Nicholas.
I am an anxiety, depression, and trauma therapist with a deep understanding of addiction, ADHD, GAD, low self-esteem, and low self-worth, backed by personal experiences with these issues. My lived experiences allow me to connect with deep empathy and offer you meaningful support on your healing journey through anxiety therapy.
I am fully qualified and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), adhering to their code of ethics. I have an advanced DBS and provide a safe, compassionate space—whether face-to-face, online, via telephone, or through home visits—where you can explore your emotions, behaviors, and patterns without fear of judgment.
As a Person Centered Therapist, I believe that you are the expert on your own life. I am here to gently guide and challenge you to help you reconnect with your best self and find your way forward. This approach means you are always in control of our therapy sessions. I also incorporate Psychodynamic therapy, which examines how your past experiences affect your present, along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which focuses on changing unhelpful or unhealthy thoughts and behaviors.
Together, we'll explore your experiences in a safe, supportive space to find your own path to healing and growth, discovering your unique potential and experiencing a collaborative and empowering therapeutic journey. Working with a therapist who strives to understand you deeply will help you develop self-awareness and self-acceptance to connect with your true self.
You'll receive therapy tailored to your unique needs and goals, building a stronger sense of self, greater self-compassion, and understanding, as you move towards living a more authentic and fulfilling life.
If you feel stuck or wish to change your thoughts, feelings, or behaviors, or if you simply want to feel happier, then anxiety therapy could be the answer for you.
I have worked extensively with anxiety, addiction, abuse, ADHD, depression, domestic abuse, emotional abuse, generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), eating disorders, OCD, trauma, family issues, and many common life problems. Additionally, I have lived experience as a parent dealing with emotionally based school avoidance.
If you're ready for change, reach out for a free 15-minute chat to see how I can support you.
